Stephanie Ann Townsend of Raleigh and Christopher Joseph Rigsbee of Durham were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014. The Rev. Todd Going was the officiating minister.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Steve Townsend of Raleigh and JoAnn Rogers Mozingo of Kinston. She is the granddaughter of Patricia Townsend of Raleigh and the late Orion Berry Townsend and the late James “Red” and Louise Rogers who lived in Kinston.
The groom is the son of Jeanne Freeman Stroud and Hal Stroud of Hillsborough and the late Billy Rigsbee. He is the grandson of William Freeman and Theresa Freeman and the late Joseph Rigsbee.
