Katherine Grace Thigpen and Craig Andrew Gleason, both of Raleigh, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. April 19, 2015, at Aria Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nev., by officiate, Jeffrey Barton.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Royce G. Thigpen Sr. and Rebecca J. Thigpen of Kinston. She is the granddaughter of Frank and Peggy Rouse of Kinston, the late William Jarman, and the late Woodrow and Doris Thigpen.
A graduate of Wesleyan College, she received a Masters of Science degree in accounting from UNCW; she is an Assistant State Audit Manager with the NC Office of State Auditor.
The groom is the son of Norman Gleason of Redkey, Ind. and the late Mary Gleason. He is the grandson of the late Walter and Helen Gleason who lived in Redkey, Ind. and the late Truitt and Marguerite Dunkin who lived in Selma, Ind.
A graduate of UNC Charlotte, he is an Infrastructure Engineer with Wake Med.
The bride’s sister, Millie Thigpen of Kinston was maid of honor.
Charles Norman of Raleigh served as best man.
Following a wedding trip in Las Vegas, the couple resides in Raleigh.
