Kristina Brynn Jones and Jeremy Lin Price, both of Seven Springs, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. June 9, 2012, at the home of the bride’s parents in Seven Springs. The Rev. Chris Singleton officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Jones of Seven Springs. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Stalmach of Mount Olive, and Rose Jones of Seven Springs and the late Earl Jones, who lived in Albertson.

The bride is a pharmacist at MedSource Pharmacy in Kinston.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Linwood Price of Seven Springs. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Smith, who lived in Rose Hill, and the late Annie Phillips, who lived in Grifton.

He is a service manager at Carolina & Howard Farms, LLC in Deep Run.

Following a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple resides in Seven Springs.

The bride wore an ivory Maggie Sottero strapless A-line gown with embellished corded lace, visible through a sheer tulle overlay featuring a dipped neckline with finely constructed organza flower motifs at the hem and on the train.

Her headpiece was a fingertip-length cascading veil trimmed with crystal beads. She carried a bouquet of pink and white peonies and ranunculus. The stems were wrapped in burlap and lace.

Matron of honor was April Rouse Tutor of Seven Springs. Maid of honor was Abby Whitt of Danville, Va.

Bridesmaids were Emily Canady Elmore and Candi Raines, both of Kinston; the bride’s cousins, Amber Bradley Jarman and Ashley Bradley, both of Pink Hill; Ashley Allison Jones of Seven Springs, sister-in-law of the bride; and Ally Duke of Kernersville.

Honorary bridesmaids were Hilary Hardy of Deep Run; Stephanie Lee of Greenville; Lauren Burchette Moore of Statesville; and the bride’s cousin, Stephanie Rouse of Albertson.

Junior bridesmaids were Alissa Price and the bride’s niece, Hailey Jones, both of Seven Springs.

The bride’s niece, Kailey Jones of Seven Springs, was flower girl.        

The groom’s father served as his son’s best man. 

Groomsmen were Greg A. Rouse, Kent Rouse, Greg Q. Rouse, Jamie Rouse, Jason Britt, and the bride’s brother, Brandon Jones, all of Seven Springs; and Jeremy Williams of Mount Olive. 

Junior groomsman was Connor Lynch of Seven Springs.

Brody Lynch of Seven Springs was ring bearer.

Alanna Price and Madisen Barwick, both of Seven Springs, were register and program attendants.

Wedding music was provided by vocalist Clay Raines and violinists Tara Pilato and Eulalia VanFosson.

The wedding was directed by Valerie Barwick of Seven Springs.

Reception/parties

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at their home. Cake was served by Doris Ann Rouse.

On Dec. 3, an engagement party was given by Valerie Barwick and Amy Raiford.

On Dec. 9, a Christmas shower was given by Holly and Joy Williams, Kristy Brock and Kathy Smith at the home of Holly Williams.

On March 17, a handyman shower was given by Neal and Catherine Lynch, Jamie and Cale Grady, Greg and Amy Rouse, Greg and Brandy Rouse, Kent and Tanya Rouse, and Byron and Susan Barwick at Daly’s Chapel Church in Seven Springs.

On April 15, a wedding shower was coordinated by Doris Ann Rouse, Pennie Barwick, Elizabeth Rouse and friends and family of the bride and groom at Daly’s Chapel Church in Seven Springs.

On April 22, a wedding shower was given by Trudy Shivar, Joy Britt, Carol Ham and Diane Thomas.

On April 29, a lingerie shower was given by Emily Elmore and April Tutor at the Tutor home.

The groom was given a bachelor party at Emerald Isle by his groomsmen and the bride was given a bachelorette party in Wilmington by her bridesmaids and friends.

On June 3, a bridal luncheon was given by the bride’s aunt, Trina Tripp, and bridesmaid Candi Raines at the home of the bride’s parents.

On June 8, a rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the groom in Seven Springs.
