Kaitlin Nicole Thomas and Stephen Andrew Gillette, both of Raleigh, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 13, 2012, at Hope Lutheran Church in Wake Forest. The Revs. Tab Cosgrove and Keith Beasley were the officiating ministers.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Mark and Kathy Thomas of Roanoke, Va. She is the granddaughter of Clayton and Betty Thomas of Roanoke, Va.; the late Harold Hughes; and the late Jack and Helen McClung.
A 2007 graduate of Hidden Valley High School in Roanoke, Va., the bride received a master’s in clinical research from Campbell University in 2012. She is a clinical research associate with PRA International in Raleigh.
The groom is the son of Terry and Patsy Gillette of Kinston. He is the grandson of George and Pat Gillette of Jacksonville, B.L. and Thelma Efird of Kinston, and the late Marjorie Efird.
A 2006 graduate of South Lenoir High School, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information from ECU in 2010. He is system administrator with the State Employees Credit Union main office in Raleigh.
Brittani Ezuma of Raleigh was maid of honor.
The groom’s father served as his son’s best man.
Following a wedding trip to Key West, Fla., the couple resides in Raleigh.
