Mallory Grey Conway and Van Burch Tucker, both of Greenville, were united in marriage Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, by the Justice of Peace at the El Dorado Royale Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Mark and Jackie Conway of Kinston. She is the granddaughter of Howard and Jackie Jones of Whiteville, Mark and Susan Conway of Kinston, and Donald and Joyce Lockamy, also of Kinston.
A graduate of ECU with a bachelor’s degree in nursing; she received a master’s degree in nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner with Kinston Medical Specialists.
The groom is the son of Van and Frieda Tucker of Grifton. He is the grandson of Glendale and Kathleen Tucker and Werner and Sudie Grey Tucker, all of Grifton.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management; he is Project Manager with Edwards, Inc.
Following a wedding trip to Big Sky Montana, the couple resides in Greenville.
The bride wore an ivory washed silk organza gown featuring a sweetheart neckline with a spiral tiered, cascading drop waist bodice. She chose to wear her hair in a loose fitting classic style bun cascaded by ivory flowers. She carried a bouquet of white and coral peonies, Gerber daisies, sweetheart roses, Brunia berries and greenery.
Brent Conway, brother of the bride served as usher.
Wedding music was provided by violinist, Adrienne Stephenson.
Reception/parties
Following the ceremony the parents of the bride hosted a reception at Tuscans Poolside Restaurant.
An engagement party was given by family and friends. A his and hers shower was hosted by friends of the bride. A bridal shower was given by co-workers of the bride. Friends of the bride hosted a holiday shower. An ornament shower was hosted by the groom’s family. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the bride.
