Meghan Eileen Palko of Trenton and Patrick Joseph Bliss of Oriental were united in marriage at 6 p.m. April 13, 2013, at Bright Star Farm in Trenton. The Rev. Dane Jackson performed the ceremony.
Escorted by her mother and given in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Connie and Steve Carlton of Trenton, and André Palko of Andover, N.J. She is the granddaughter of John and Gloria Gray of Walkersville, Md.
The bride received a Bachelor of Arts in English from UNC Wilmington, and a Master of Arts in English from ECU.
The groom is the son of Joe Bliss and Caroline Bliss of Oriental. He is the grandson of Charles Bliss of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Marylu Bliss, and Ben Lake and Nell Critzer of Portsmouth, Va.
He received a B.A. in music from High Point University.
Abigail Jennings of Raleigh was maid of honor.
Joshua Fast of Greensboro served as best man.
The couple took a wedding trip to the Amalfi Coast, Italy.
